The purpose-built one. Snaps to the X4's back magnet or clips to any book. Three colour temperatures, stepless 8–100% brightness, USB-C, 3–15h runtime.
Official ultra-light back-snap case in six colours. Adds protection while keeping the magnetic mounting and slim profile. Sold direct from xteink.com; also on Amazon from the official XTEINK store.
Caution: Fits the X4 only — not the X4 Pro. The Pro is 3 mm shorter, drops the bottom-button cutout and relocates the back magnet, so X4 cases do not fit it.

Official back-snap case cut for the X4 Pro in six colours. Same ultra-light design as the X4 case but with the magnet moved up, the bottom-button cutout removed and a pogo-port opening — so X4 cases will not fit.
6 colours: Forest Green, Mint Green, Blossom Pink, Raspberry Red, Space Black, Cloud Grey
The X3 version of the official magnetic back-snap case. Precise fit, six colours.
14g semi-transparent polycarbonate shell — slim everyday knock protection that stays see-through.

Slim semi-transparent polycarbonate shell cut for the X4 Pro's shorter body and pogo port — cheap everyday knock protection that stays see-through.
2 colours: Mist White, Mist Gray
Paper-feel matte film that cuts glare and adds a little writing texture to the X4 screen.
Tempered-glass film for scratch and crack protection without the matte texture.
Official stick-on magnetic rings (3 black + 3 white) for phone-back carry on non-MagSafe phones.
Spare magnetic pogo-pin charging cable. Both the X3 and the pogo-charging X4 Pro use it — worth a backup, since it's easy to lose. The base X4 charges over plain USB-C and doesn't need it.
Official magnetic adapter that fits both the X3 and the X4 Pro pogo-pin port: plug in any USB-C cable and snap the magnetic end onto the reader to charge. A cheap drop-in backup for the easy-to-lose cable.
Ultra-light PU-leather back-snap case for the X4 — keeps the magnetic mount and slim profile, soft anti-scratch liner inside. Sold in several colours (brown, black, red, sage green).
Third-party magnetic back-snap, several colours. Solid value if you want more colour options.
Budget faux-leather flip wallet for the X4 — magnetic closure, two to three card slots and a built-in kickstand. Sold in several styles (Oxford fabric, window, wallet, business).
Colourful shockproof X4 cover bundled with two tempered-glass screen protectors — case plus screen protection in one cheap pack.
Handmade full-grain vegetable-tanned leather sleeve, individually cut for a snug fit. Develops a patina with use; made for both X3 and X4.
Slim book-inspired case 3D-printed to order in PETG, styled like a traditional hardcover.
Snap-on slim shell that reverses: face-out with the screen exposed to read, then flip it to cover the screen in a bag. A longer bottom “chin” makes the page-turn buttons easier to reach, and the front can be 3D-printed with custom artwork (anime, logos, your own design).
Genuine-leather pouch a touch larger than the official case, adding a card slot and a pen holder. Personalisable with name engraving.
Wet-moulded leather cases hand-shaped to exact X3/X4 dimensions by u/handmadefromvietnam. Each piece is made to order — lead time varies, check the listing before buying.
A MagSafe PopSockets grip doubles as an Xteink mount: the reader's magnet clicks onto the MagSafe base for dual-use carry.
An X3 with its magnetic cover slips into a passport-size Traveler's Notebook (or a card-size TN solo) for a minimal EDC carry setup.

A 2-pack of magnetic 4-pin adapters built for the pogo-pin port shared by the X3 and X4 Pro: plug any USB-C cable into the puck and snap its magnetic end onto the back to charge — a drop-in replacement for the easy-to-lose proprietary cable. Each has a lanyard loop and built-in over-charge / short-circuit protection.
Caution: Fits the 4-pin pogo port on the X3 and X4 Pro — not the USB-C base X4. Confirm the pin layout matches your unit before relying on it.
Owners report the factory-bundled microSD can overheat and fail — the community fix is a name-brand SanDisk. This 32GB Ultra is a cheap, reliable swap that still holds thousands of e-books (cards up to 512GB are supported).
Full-wrap, anti-collision magnetic cover with reinforced corners — one listing bundles both an X4 and an X3 fit (4.9★, 500+ sold).
Bookmark-clip reading light with three colour temperatures (warm / cool / mixed), five brightness steps, and a 360° gooseneck. Charges via USB-C in 30 minutes and runs up to 40 hours. At 0.06 lbs it barely adds weight to the reader.
A MagSafe-style magnetic light on a flexible gooseneck — snaps to the X4's back magnet and bends over the page as a reading light. Bi-colour 2500–4500K, five brightness steps, USB-C rechargeable. Doubles as a phone/video fill light.
Designed specifically for the Xteink X3 and X4 — clips to the top edge and casts warm LED light across the screen. Rechargeable via USB, 187 units sold.
A 2-button Bluetooth 5.4 remote that flips pages forward or back without touching the screen — good for one-handed or hands-free reading. Rated for ~20 days on a charge at 2h/day; comes with a charging cable and wrist strap. Built for the X4 specifically, not the X3.
A two-key Bluetooth clicker sold specifically for the X4. Four modes selected with a short press of the power button — page turn (up/down), page turn (left/right), music play/pause, and volume — plus swappable red (silent) and blue (clicky) switches and spare keycaps in the box. It's the clicker most often named in r/xteinkreader threads, and it's one of the page-turner devices the community CrossPoint BLE firmware fork recognizes by name in its built-in device list.
Caution: Needs Bluetooth pairing, so it works on the stock Xteink firmware out of the box. Mainline CrossPoint doesn't support Bluetooth yet — only community forks like CrossPoint BLE add a page-turner back.
Folio-style TPU case with a built-in magnet-ring slot — keeps the ring in place, grooves for page-turn buttons.
Most-downloaded X4 case on Printables — clips over the official protective case to add grip and protection.
Side-sliding X4 case singled out as a community favourite in the unofficial X4 FAQ.
Flexible TPU X4 case that prints without supports; heat-treat the closed lid for a perfect fit. Includes a PDF guide.
Reversible X4 case — face-up to read, flip face-down to protect the screen in transit. PETG, no supports.
Multi-part snap-together case covering every button with a raised screen lip. 1,600+ downloads. Tuned for Bambu Basic/Matte PLA.
Three-part print (front, back, 360° hinge) that folds completely flush and snaps closed.
Snap-fit 4-LED bar for the X4. Free 3MF — print the housing, add an LED board, USB-C module and LiPo. ~$5–10 in parts, no soldering.
Caliper-measured 3D reference model of the X4 — the base file for designing your own accessories.
